Melissa works alongside Mila Fernandez (left) and Ruby De Ville Morel (center) as one of the co-founders of The Grounding Project. The collective produce multi media works that use ecological themes to educate audiences about the climate crisis and promote mental and physical well-being.

Their filmic work ‘Exposed by the Elements’ was chosen to represent Scotland at the U.Dance National Showcase in 2021.

They are currently being supported by the Trinity Laban Innovation Award 2022/23 to support the development of their next filmic work, ‘The Water Series’.
